Any straight run of numbers adding up to ten disappears — across or down, two cells or four.
New pieces only arrive once all three below are placed. Any piece with nowhere to go turns grey — when two of three go grey, you are in trouble.
When the number up top hits zero, one empty cell turns to brick. You see the target three seconds early — take that cell first and the brick backs off elsewhere.
Higher levels bring bigger pieces and scarcer tools. There is only one way to lose: none of your three pieces fits anywhere.

There are only nine numbers, one through nine, and each carries its own colour so the board reads by colour before you read the digits. The pairings are simple — 1 with 9, 2 with 8, 5 with 5. But it is not only pairs: any straight run of three or four that sums to ten goes as well.
The first four arrive mixed into your waiting pieces — a fixed number per round, and fewer of them the higher you climb. The brick is the odd one out: you never earn it, time drives it in, and nothing removes it.
Counts as whatever number makes ten. Place it and the run it joins clears at once.
Wipes the 3x3 around where it lands. This is the tool for a knot in the middle of the board.
Sweeps the entire row it lands in. A laser runs the line first, then it goes.
Sweeps the entire column. It unlocks a different shape of jam than the row clear does.
Drags the nearest block from each of four directions to its side — for when the pieces you need sit too far apart.
Lands when the countdown hits zero. Sums, full lines, bombs, magnets — none of them touch it. It is the one thing in this game you cannot undo.
